We
have so many higher level problems yet to be settled in our division such as
shortage of staffs, very old hardware issues, damaged SO buildings, irregular
net connectivity in finacle offices, non sufflement or disribution of staffs
throughout the division(retaining particular OAs for many number of years) etc.
We
have not given a suitable or sufficient resources within the office in all kind
of categories to do our best to render a good service to the people or
public. The working class of Dharmapuri
Division meets a large number of problems and constraints to complete their day
to day work itself. All kind of problems and issues which working class faces
in our day to day work is not settled in the right time.
Even
for a mistake committed by a postman in wrong delivery of a registered article,
the sub postmaster gets punishment of 6 months withheld of increment by our administration
without any basic courtesy.
The
Administration does not care about the method how the working class do render
service to the public, how they overcome their day to day problems, hurdles
which they face daily such as technical issues, hardware issues, shortage of
staffs, combined branch etc. The
administration does not want all the above said problems get settled in the
right time, so that the operative staffs are not in the stage of rendering a
good service to people.
In some of the finacle offices in Dharmapuri Division
such as buddireddipatti, panjapalli and indur still the irregular net
connectivity issues are not settled , so that the impact is the staffs are
unable to complete their work even in late hours and this make them to leave
the office in late night beyond the basic fundamental 8 hours work.
We all have well known that, for the past two months itself, dharmapuri
division have opened nearly 5000 new savings accounts there by our division is
becoming a first leading division(achieved 42% of the given target by 10th
February) in the region. 90% of them is GDS’s and operative side staff’s money,
whereas the rest of the divisons in western region have not been even opened
atleast half of the new accounts which we ours(operative staffs) have opened
for the past two months. The Administration is highly curious in sucking the
last drop blood of the GDS employees to attain the completion of target.
Achievement of target is not wrong. But the present way being carried
out by our administration to attain the target is entirely wrong. Every month
our administration sends a letter to all SOs regarding the percentage of target
achieved so far, also they give instruction all the SPMs and BPMs as “canvassing
within your jurisdiction is not at all good enough, but also all SO and BO
staffs have to visit various places away from their offices and to canvas more
no. of new accounts.
The Operative side staffs are only in the burden to open bulk new
accounts repeatedly on nearing the financial year end, in the mean time how
many no. of new accounts have our divisional office OAs opened so far in our
post offices in the part of achieving the target?.
Here we believe that the target pressures are fixing only to the
operative side staffs and GDS staffs again and again throughout the financial
year by our administration. The administration staffs are excluded from fixing
target, they always free and each of admin staffs are not in the condition to
go out of the office and canvas for new account opening.
This partiality should not be given to the staffs in the division. We
all are DOP staffs only. The Divisional office staffs also hereafter should be
included or should take part in achieving the target by visiting out of the
office, canvassing for opening of new accounts like a operative staff does.
Hereby it is concluded that the
Dharmapuri divisional administration should stop doing this activities against
the victim(working class) and should go for a alternate way ( Non fixing of
targets to any working class individual) to complete the remaining target to
make our division a good inter relationship between administration side and
operative side.
