I humbly submit
the following for kind perusal of SPOs.
I am working as SPM in this office from . This office is migrated as
CBS office from ------. The finacle software is a new one to all staff, it was
quite difficult to understand the concepts involved in it and to perform its
operating procedures in the on line environment. Though I have more attentive
and involved myself in opening of more no. of new accounts in the part of
achieving the target, I could able to achieve 60% of the target with this new
software.
Unlike the sanchay post software, finacle operating
procedures consumes more time i.e. more than thrice when compared with the
previous software sanchay post. Unlike in sanchay post, an account opening process
in finacle involves initially creation of CIF ID in teller and its verification
in supervisor, then only it can be moved to account opening process in teller,
followed by account opening verification in supervisor. After the completion of
these process, funding is required to be done in teller, followed by
verification of funding in supervisor. It is the process of an account opening
in finacle software.
At the time of finacle migration, this office had faced server down problem several times in a day.
During the server down time, it is not possible to carry out even a small
operation in finacle. I had often been forced to raise a ticket with CPC as per
the procedure in order to get released from the server down problem. Some of
the common finacle working hurdles are said to be errors such as already login,
exceeded maximum no. of credential attempts, User already logged in etc. In
sanchay post software, If a problem is faced, the concerned SA will solve the
problem then and there. But in finacle if a Software issue faced by an
official, the trouble shooting can be done only from CPC, Chennai. Hence it
will take more time to settle the problem.
The account opening procedure for SSA is a lengthy process
when compared with all other account opening process in finacle module. Before
the account opening process commence in SSA, two(Minor and guardian) CIF IDs
need to be created and verified. Even though there are some hurdles and
constraints present in finacle like EOD at 1600 hours, I was very much interested
in opening of new accounts at this office.
Hence, I request the SPOs to kindly consider pressure of
work and difficulties in the finacle module in the year 2014-2015.Moreover I did not decline any new accounts approached across the counter.I assure
that I will take my sincere efforts in the upcoming financial year to achieve
the allotted target.
