            Minutes of the monthly meeting with NFPE P3 Union, Dharmapuri Divisional Branch held on   31.12.14 at 1000 hours at Divisional Office, Dharmapuri 636701 for the month of  December    2014.

Old subjects.

 98.     Shifting of B.Agraharam Sub Office  into a better building .

               B.Agraharam sub office building is in  bad condition moreover it is in tiles     building .There is no provision for natural calls also and the subject is still pending for a very long time.So it may be kindly take immediate effort to shift the office to a better

 concrete building .

Reply:- Action is under process.

99.     Shifting of Bommidi sub offices into a better building .

             Bommidi sub office building in damage condition and the cement in the  concrete is often fell down from the top.The building will be  collapse at any time so it may be kindly shift the building into better concrete building.

Reply:-  Three offers received were forwarded to IP, Dharmapuri East sub       division on 21.11.14. Her report is awaited. IP will be reminded.

105.   Supply of Mother Board.

  Permission may be approved for purchasing Motherboard at Dharmapuri Head Post Office.

 Reply:-   DSM reported that the present supplied one is sufficient to mange since it is having the sufficient configuration.                ( Item closed)           

Union Note: The present sever is supplied for RPLI branch and so far the present configuration is not enough. We put the subject once again in forthcoming monthly meeting. Practical difficulties in carrying out MPCM counter operation and emo module persists as if.

109.   Replacement of Batteries

            It is requested to replace the batteries in Indur SO and it is very essential as the office is working under CBS.

Reply:- One standby UPS from Dharmapuri HO is given. ( Item closed)

Union Note: The supplied UPS is working well.  thank our SPos in this regard.        

110.     Change of BO timings to continuous working hours in CBS Offices .

            The BO timings of Bedrahallil BO, Dalavaihalli BO and Makkanur BO may please be changed as continuous working hours so that BO bag will reach  the CBS Office in the early hours for quick process. In future it is essential that changes should be done to all BOs regarding CBS.

Reply:-  IP is instructed  in this regard to examine this.

111.     Increasing Bandwidth.

            The Bandwidth of Indur,Toppur and Panjapalli SOs  may be raised from 256Kbps to 01 Mbps and the bandwidth of HO may be raised from 512Kbps to 2 Mbps and it is very indispensable for the process of Core Banking Solutions.

Reply:- Bandwidth has been provided based on the no of users , no of computers , etc. However this will be taken up with RO. ( Item closed)

Union Note: We ask our administration to write a letter regarding increasing of bandwidth.         

112.     Supply of Portable UPS

            Portable (Transportable) UPS may be supplied to SOs for Server to avoid irregular shutdown due to power failure in the office where UPS under repair.

114.     Supply of Monitors

            It is requested to supply 01 monitor each to Pauparapatti SO and SBCO Branch of Dharmapuri HO

115.     Filling of PA Post in Pappireddipatti SO

            It is requested to Post 1 PA in Pappireddipatti SO as the SO which is situated at Taluk Headquarters with the strength of 1+1 containing 13 BOs under it.

Reply:-  This will be examined if staff position improves.

Union Note:We will wait until the staff  position improves.

116.     Supply of Lights

            The Holding Board Light, Compound Lights and the lights at the backside of HO are not working since for a long time. Necessary Steps may kindly be taken.

New Subjects

119.     Two Surveillance Camera for  HO

            It is requested to fix surveillance camera at the entrance of Head Post Office and at Treasury for safety measures intention.

Reply:-  At present 3 cameras are provided at the HO building. Further only   one camera will be provided as per the provided cable wires/DVD             available etc. For  functioning  of ATM room , one camera is to be         provided with the available infrastructure and equipments. On the          above , the same will be examined.                                   ( Item closed)           

Union Note: We ask the surveillance camera only for the safety measures. If the administration is satisfactory with the safety measures then why we worry about that.

120.     Appointment of GDSPKR at HO

                        It is requested to employ at least one GDSPKR at HO for essential work at mails. Also there is no regular MTS at Treasury & Sub Account which is very important and also the above GDSPKR may be employed immediately as already two MTS has worked before abolition of MTS.

Union Note: We took the issue to our administration in informal meeting. The Postmaster Dharmapuri HO should intimate DO about practical difficulties in management of the office after sudden abolition of Two group D posts to which pay was drawn and officials worked till before the day of abolition.

121.     Username & Password

            The Username and password may be supplied immediately for the staffs who already undergone CBS training so that they may work in their own name instead of working in other’s name and it is very fundamental for safety principle.

Reply:-  User name and pass word are being supplied by CPC , Chennai when the officials earmarked for branch. This is the usual procedure being followed in finacle.                                                                                          ( Item closed)           

Union Note:Our union ask the comrades to inform prior to divisional office about your deputation and get username and password to work in finacle.

122. Regular Deputation of PA

            The PA of Bommidi SO is ordered for deputation habitually and this may be avoided in future so that the office is having 12 MPKBY Agents and 03 PRSS Agents which results in posting of RDs almost 80 and also having huge number of transactions in all aspects.                                                   ( Item closed)           

Reply:-  As there is heavy shortage in division, deputation is ordered from all Class A offices/HOs. However, deputation from Bommidi will be      restricted to some extent.

123.     Routine combination of TRR and ATR

            It is requested to post one HSG II in the place of Treasurer so that it may be result in avoiding routine combination of Treasurer and ATR so as the staffs are suffering like anything while doing combined duty.

124.     Target for Finacle Offices.

                        The target for SB, RD allotted may be reduced at Finacle Offices so that the Server automatically comes down after 1500 hours and it is very tough in practical to complete the regular work itself due to Low Bandwidth as well as the module is new for our staffs. Arrangement of SAs for one day, for opening New Accounts doesn’t help for regular course.

Reply:-  Target is allotted by Directorate and this will be evenly allocated to    divisions by RO. At this juncture, it is not possible to reduce target.
